Georgian Film Academy, with the agreement of the Georgian Chamber of Culture and Imedi TV, will launch a new International Short Film Internet Festival – “Diogene 2020”. An online film competition will be held within the framework of the short film festival “Diogene 2020”, where it will be shown, how people spend their time and behave during the self-isolation. The idea of the Internet film festival “Diogene 2020” was offered to the Georgian Film Academy and its president, film director Buba (Ramaz) Khotivari by Koba Tskhakaia and Ioseb Mchedlishvili. Mr. Buba Khotivari expressed great interest in the project and became actively involved in its implementation. After consultations, the final look of the project was formed and presented to the Georgian Chamber of Culture and Imedi TV.
